The Anime Thread

I was just wondering if any of you watched it and if you do, what shows do you like? This thread is to talk about all things Anime and maybe to recommend some. I'd like to know what anime you guys watch. Have fun!

My favorite animes are:

Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragonball, Death Note and Naruto

As far as anime goes... I enjoyed Japanese Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, DBZ, FMA...and that's all I remember

My personal fave 5 are:

The Vision of Escaflowne, Paranoia Agent, Full Metal Alchemist, Sayonara Zetsoubu Sensei, and Cowboy Bebop. I recommend ALL of them.

Wow Skyos... Despair Teacher? Nice.

I tend to watch shows that don't need mentioning. But regardless Zetsubou is a nice show as was Lucky Star if you want some japanese comedy stuff. The English Dub of Excel Saga was ingenious scriptwise. It insulted just about everything imaginable. If you want a nice action type show despite being a little childish and slow to start up (all early filler is bad and intro episodes to meet characters feel fillerish) Katekyo Hitman Reborn is nice. Altho only really follow that show for some personal reasons.

Some childhood shows are Cardcaptor Sakura, Gravitation, Konjiki no Gashbell, One Piece, and the sorts.

If you want a more serious show tho the anime I just finished was much more lackluster then the actual Live Drama of GTO was nice and very motivational pretty much the whole way thru.

I only like DBZ, Yu Gi Oh and Death Note.

"When they cry" is really called Higurashi no naku koro ni. Or higurashi for short.

Higurashi no naku koro ni literally translated is When the Higurashi cry. But america does not have the higurashi bug rather we have cicadas. So in turn they went with the name "When They cry".

oh Yeah I'm watching 'When they Cry' currently too. I started from the beginning though so I'm on episode 16 or so.

Hmm... I tend to watch some when I have the time...O_O


Wolf's Rain, GDW, GD?(forget),Naruto(lol),Dragon Ball(Z,GT),Yu-Gi-Oh(Dont laugh T_T)errrm....Theres more but I for get lol I really recomend Wolf's Rain ....Made me Cry T_____T

I'll watch Wolf's Rain after I finish with Bleach T_T Long ways to go....

my faves are: tenchi muyo, naruto, case closed, cowboy bebop, scryed.

the lack of case closed is disturbing

Kawaii in japanese means cute r girly i think so that means i like actiony stuff
